"Centrally located walking distance to the wharf and Boardwalk. Beautiful ocean view. Cool retro room furnishings. Nice shower. Great balcony. Very nice staff. Wonderful morning breakfast room service you order the night before and select delivery time. Like the unique beach writing on sand in the morning (I think that is done by the hotel) Only one bad thing, the 1970's style noisy wall unit Heater/AC. Sounded like the surf crashing or a train rumbling by every time it went on. Really? Fix that and it is perfect!"

"This was a much needed, short getaway for us which was exactly what we were hoping for. Check in was fast. A wonderful, pleasant, and cheerful young woman greeted us and we were in a beautiful room within 10 minutes. The room was tasteful and clean (as was the entire hotel), the beds were comfortable which is always a huge perk at our age. We spent our few days exploring Santa Cruz and found the town pleasantly unique, the residents quite friendly, and the surroundings exquisite! We love little beach towns. The last “gem” was the Santa Cruz Diner; what a great place! We had a restful and rejuvenating experience which will have us returning and telling everyone about! Thank you. "
