It was great, but it would have been nicer if our bedroom had a view of the river, because all we could see was the pavement. The rooms were also quite small, but that's to be expected on a boat.

Trip with a twist

Holiday was spoilt by room

I will start with the negative first When I booked in for my room they give me cabin (914) it was the wrong room I informed the receptionist I booked a Executive Single room Overwater but the you give me was on the embankment side facing the wall.The morning receptionist was very rude and refused to change my room and she inform me all the boat on river. I explain my booking was for a room overlooking the river not looking at a wall. The room was very small and dated dark wood decor and my French doors open to the ramp and wall and had no privacy unless you closed the curtains. The positive The hot and cold breakfast buffet was generous in variety. The Florentina was clean and bright and the upper dack would be nice in the summer overlooking the river. The location is very good for exploring the Old Town and Jewish Quarter and views of the Castle. Overall it is value for money. I complain to hotels.com when I got home about my room and they compensate me with no argument. I have no hesitation to recommend hotels.com for all the service they give me.

Great place to stay

Great value for money and something a bit different. The only criticism was the lack of ventilation in the room otherwise no faults
