Rosecraddoc - Liam cottage
Posted 18 May 2024 on HotelsNice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall.
It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here.
Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here.
A couple of small things that could have made it perfect.

The property is fully self catering, again as advertised, we have to be very careful these days due to allergen compliances, so we don’t supply any food items. With 20 properties that can make it a little problematic. We do hope these minor things did not spoil your stay Thanks

Was home for a week <3
Posted 25 Jul 2022 on Hotelswe stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come again definately.

The apartment does have a fridge but with a small freezer area set into the fitted kitchen units. We could of stored any frozen items in a vacant property if needed.

Beautiful Place
Posted 24 Jul 2022 on HotelsA fantastic place to stay, beautiful grounds in which the holiday accommodation is set in, and so peaceful and quiet.
The location is fairly central too, so easy access to all parts of the county. We will definitely come back.

Dreamy Manor House stay.
Posted 27 Nov 2021 on HotelsWe had a simply wonderful short stay at Rosecraddoc Manor. Exceptionally tidy. The proprietors stuck to very tight COVID rules, that was very re-assuming. A beautiful oasis of a place to stay, with a waterfall and a lake. All too good to be true. Highly recommended .

The property was nice and ok for its money. Make sure you read the terms and conditions though as we were charged £15 for WiFi and £10 for electric (which is far more than indicated in the terms (we stayed for 2 nights).
The property was cold, although old so somewhat to be expected. My real grind was that as we were tidying up in the morning of departure, my partner was tidying my car out and a member of staff walked to the front door and stated ‘you better have left it tidy in there’. I thought this was rude and uncalled for, I do wonder if it was due to our young age it was assumed it would be left untidy.
We also had an issue in relation to wasps in the property.
We were provided with only one toilet roll for two nights stay.
The log fire was very nice and the bed was comfortable enough.

Wish we lived nearer so we could visit more often.
