Location is the winner here! The hotel is newish, but standard rooms are very small. I had the one that faced the side of the building and it was always very dark in the room. The reception staff is okay, but not warm or very friendly (which came as a true surprise). Also, please note that there is no lobby of any kind there- you open the door and step into a very busy restaurant. This was also strange. So, would I be back? No, I’ll look for a better boutique hotel in Lisbon. But you won’t regret it if you’re set to go there.

We enjoyed our stay at My Story Figueira. The staff on reception are very helpful & a shout out especially to Patricia who on our last day assisted us with our Taxi when a lot of roads were closed off for a run.
The hotel dining room is lovely & the food very good. The breakfast is plentiful but a little more guidance from the waiting on staff would be useful, pointing out the tea & coffee arrangements & also letting you know that the eggs need to be ordered from them, they show no interest in helping you.
The bedrooms however are tiny & there is only space for hanging clothes everything else had to stay in the suitcase, not one drawer. It's ok once you learn how to keep out of each others way.
The hotel is in a great location for getting around, close to tram stops, taxis, the train station which we used to get to Sintra (very easy) & 2 lifts just around the corner to get you up to the castle.
Many thanks once again to reception who helped us with all our trips out especially to Sintra.

It was an immaculate property with amazing friendly staff. We just had few hours of bad stench during our stay (the staff informed us that some cleaning was taking place). But other than that we had a fantastic time.
Loved the location - walkable to Rua Augusta and numerous places to eat.
