Absolutely amazing location and hosts.Perfect for English speaking guests.Super comfortable and superb Breakfast i didn’t need lunch after it there was so much on offer.This is the place to stay when visiting this majestic mountains and quaint Country side. I am a super host on airbnb so trust me on my recommendation.
Enjoy i’ll be back for sure👌

This is a very beautiful space, well kept, with nice and cozy houses and a delicious breakfast. It is located in a small and very quiet village with view to the mountains, and you can hear the church bells. Very peaceful.
To improve only the check-in as we had to wait a few minutes and there were no signs on the doors information on local activities (opening hours of museums, etc.)

Posted 8 May 2019 on HotelsWe were pleasantly impressed with the professionalism seen in every detail, from the printed tags identifying every kind of jam on the buffet breakfast counter to the overall cleanliness of the rooms and premises, including the outside areas. On our next trip to the area, as we are likely to come and visit family there, this will definitely be the place where we will stay.

Comfort in a quiet village.
Posted 29 Apr 2019 on HotelsThis is rather an out of the way place that we chose as being fairly close to Lisbon for our flight home, so can't comment on what there is to see locally. It's in a small village and the nearest restaurants are a short drive away. From our experience of one meal, the cuisine is best described as "robust" rather than refined! The place itself is very nicely appointed. The room is large with quality furnishings and an outside door gives easy access for luggage. The owner speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable and keen to chat. Although we were the only guests on the night we stayed, the breakfast spread was vast and the home made jams extremely tasty.

Perfect Portuguese Pad!
Posted 17 Nov 2017 on HotelsThis place was so perfect, we booked a second night and used the hotel as our base for exploring the area. The staff was incredibly helpful with suggestions - especially local restaurants. They make you feel at home oh - and the breakfast is great!

DONT GO THERE - NOBODY WAS THERE TO ACCEPT US !!!

Pros: It looks pretty.... too bad nobody was there
Cons: Hospitality
We got to the hotel at 9 PM
Nobody was there.
With some luck the front (locked usually) door was open so we were able to get in the reception.
lights were closed and not a sole to be found.
We called the number left for emergencies and guests who arrive "late" and nobody answered it.
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE... as in NO SERVICE at all.
