Clean room,
Fresh and tasty breakfast,
Nice staff,
Sauna,
Comfy bed
-no restored breakfast (i.e. no butter 2nd day, no eggs 1st day),
-dirty corridor carpet,
-price to quality!,
-poor room light.

Sadly this arte hotel was a disappointment. Our room was exceedingly hot being in the roof up two flights of stairs with windows facing south. And the air conditioning had failed as had the safe with flat batteries. We changed rooms but still in the attic this time with a shower that slipped down and a floor which turned our new white slippers dirty grey. We had to keep every window open which meant very noisy night and limited sleep. We stayed 2 nights and there was no room cleaning service. Breakfast was ok but no tables were cleared of dirty breakfast stuff. This wasn’t the staffs fault, the place was understaffed. Reception shouted at me that I should have called house cleaning when we got back (at 2200!) and that all of Linz had no air conditioning (not correct as we have found out elsewhere). I think if this was a budget hotel it’s ok. But it’s not at budget prices! Im sad because I like art and designer hotels rather than business chains. But this arte needs some decent management in my opinion.

Located next to Neue Rathaus by the river, easily reached with trams from main railway station. Business suite room was spacious and tidy - more than plenty just for myself. Efficient and friendly staffs, and easily walkable distance to all key sites in central Linz. Recommended.

This place is great. They had a very safe and secure place for me to stick my bicycle. Staff was very friendly. Hotel room was very nice.

Posted 18 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe stayed 1 night. I had booked a business studio room and was given a handicap room. Not at all romantic and actually quite awkward. Assuming they had no other room. The room was not super clean as in hand prints all over the mirror in the room and the bottom of the shower curtain was all dirty and mildewed. The amenity kit in the washroom was ordinary with only 1 cue tip and the wrapping was opened. Would not stay here again.
