Budgethotell med bra läge

Enkelt hotell med bra läge. Litet och svårtillgängligt rum med brist på bekvämlighet. Badrummet saknade handdukshängare (trasig) och duschdörren var lös. WiFi liksom kortbetalning fungerade inte. Minimal betjäning. Plus var en god och vällagad middag med zanderfilet. Lågprisboende även om angivet pris enl. Hotels.com höjdes med 6 euro/dag.

Very bad experience with Burgklause in Linz!

We had a very bad experience with this hotel! First of all, the room was not in a nice condition. It was fairly clean, but beds were not comfortable, and there was no airconditioner or fan. Even though we asked for a double bed, we got two single beds. It did not correspond to the price we payed for the night. Because of the heat, we had to leave the window open and were kept awake until 1 in the morning as the hotel employees spoke very loudly in the square in front of the hotel (otherwise a peaceful and quiet place). Secondly, the service and attitude from the owner and employees of Burgklause was exceptionally bad. Upon arrival, there was at first no one in the reception, and when we were greeted, an employee insisted that we had not payed for the room, even though the payment had been confirmed via hotels.com several days earlier. In the evening, when we returned from dinner around 10 pm. we were ambushed by another employee insisting that we would fix the payment issue. We explained to her that we had already payed and that they would need to contact hotels.com as the professional part. She was very unpleasant and insisting that this was our problem to fix, and even mentioned that she would not let us leave, until the problem had been dealt with. We ended up calling hotels.com ourselves. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It seems they are not interested in owning a hotel, speaking rudely and in a confronting manner to guests.
