"The property was beautiful. I love the apartment set up. People around are very friendly. I did not like that my door lock broke two days before my check out. In order to lock the door, we had to open the door and reclose it to get the lock to work. The bathroom drain was backed up and water filled the bedroom and hallway. I liked that i was able to communicate with the owner."

"I’ve traveled to The Gambia four times and this is the best place accommodation so far. Free cleaning services, supermarket on the first level, free parking, restaurants and shops walking distance away, 24/7 security.. to say the least. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. "

Location is great and is few minutes walk to the beach in Bijilo and walking distance to restaurants, supermarket and public transportation. It is also short drive to Senegambia. "The two properties l stayes at were terriple, filthy, noisy and lack proper management. After 4 days in lagacy phases 2 and 4 l moved to to another hotel. "Save yourself the trouble—this property lacks professionalism, comfort, and basic upkeep. The location was another letdown. While advertised as convenient, being directly opposite Keir Srynge Market meant struggling to locate the property every time I went out and tried to return.The area felt unsafe after dark, with limited lighting and no clear pedestrian pathways. I would never recommend Sweet Mama Residence to anyone. "

Great place let down by racial profiling incident

"This was my second time staying at the Kololi Beach Resort, and the hotel itself is great—great location, nice rooms, and excellent front-of-house staff. However, my stay was ruined by an overzealous security guard who was probably only doing what he had been taught to do - keep Black women out, who they assume all must be "ladies of the night." was stopped by a security guard who did not approach me with any kind of courtesy and demanded to know what I was doing at the hotel and whether I was staying there. "
