Staff are amazing so kind. Pretty nice hotel. Problem is just lots of mosquitoes. Mosquito net has small holes so should be repaire.

Used soap and old soap wrapper in the bathroom. It seemed that the room was not prepared for us.

The property was convenient for Cheddi Jagan airport and good value compared to hotels in Georgetown. The hotel was helpful in arranging transfers to and from the hotel. The aircon in the room did not work initially but the staff solved it.

I had an absolute blast at rhe villa for 3 days! The food was amazing, the staff were very polite. I will definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my short stay here as it was great to have a place nearby the airport to refresh myself between connecting flights. Ms. Holder and her staff are so kind and helpful!

I had the bad driver he charged me extra and was very rude. Get a different driver if you choose this resort. And they only take cash.

t's regrettable that our guest encountered difficulties in transportation. We are currently collaborating with 3 or 4 taxi services to ensure smooth transfers to the Villa. We maintain complete autonomy in our operations. Recently, with the surge in visitors to Guyana due to the discovery of oil, taxi services have been inundated, leading to occasional instances of price gouging. We have reached out to the tourism board, urging the implementation of regulations and standardized pricing to address this issue.

Most comfortable and hospitable place I stayed
Posted 7 Nov 2023 on HotelsI had stayed at several affordable options in Georgetown the previous week and since I had an early 3am flight back to the U.S. I decided to stay at Ms. Holder's Villa due to it's close proximity to the airport and I couldn't have made a better choice.
With clean rooms, mosquito bed netting, good plumbing and water pressure for bathing and even a snackette on the property this was easily the most comfortable accommodation I stayed in over the duration of my visit in Guyana, and Ms. Holder is one of the friendliest and most helpful people I had the pleasure to meet. Even though I had such an inconveniently timed flight so late at night Ms. Holder took it up on herself to give me a ride to the airport in place of the usual taxi she arranges. True hospitality in every sense of the word and I wish I had spent the majority of time staying here instead of Georgetown but Ms. Holder will be my first option now when returning to Guyana in the near future!

When I arrived to the Holder’s I was told that I did not have a reservation. And If I wanted to stay I would have to pay in cash. I mentioned that my reservation was booked online via Expedia and that I had my reservation email. I was then told that Holder”s was not affiliated with Expedia. I was taken back to the airport by the taxi driver and left there with no place to stay. It was an awful experience..

I am sorry for experience but your recollection is incorrect you showed up at the hotel with no cash stating you paid Expedia for accommodations and taxi service. It clearly states on your reservation that hotel collects payment. The taxi company that works with us collects money from the guests. The taxi driver was really helpful to take you to ATM.

I wish i had more time. My connecting flight was 7am the following day. Mr. Light and his staff went above and beyond to make my short stay a memorable one. And it definitely was. Thank you Mr. Light!!
