"What a lovely place. The owners have taken a lot of time and care in furnishing these rooms, each one is different, but very well done - attention to detail etc. Complimentary biscuits and water provided. Breakfast was great - a good selection and cooked to order. Would certainly stay again."
"Lovely staff, great location for Lincoln city centre, property in good condition and good size and comfortable. Will 100% stay again, great value for money. "

Uphill Lincoln and the Cathedral are beautiful, but it is a very old and steep area and carparking can be awkward. The University is close to the centre and there are a lot of students and young people, Brayford Wharf area is attractive and lively.

The Bailgate area of Lincoln is a delight! The area is by the Castle and Cathedral and is steeped in history (You can view an original copy of the Magna Carta in Lincoln Castle). There are some lovely bars and restaurants. Recommend a visit!

Able to walk everywhere. Round the lake, into the town & up to the Cathedral. Very historic place. Friendly locals who were knowledgeable & very willing to share their knowledge. Nice individual shops. Attended concert in Cathedral, fab!

Love Lincoln, it's compact, lots of history and many independent shops as well as all the ones expected in a city. A walk down Steep Hill is a must and tea in one of the many little tea shops on the way. This was our third visit.

Good
Lincoln is split between old town up high and Victorian town below. The lower areas are typical British high street of pretty poor shops, big pubs and fast food. Go up to the cathedral and walk round, nice places to eat

Lincoln city seemed very friendly with shops and restaurants having chatty staff only too pleased to help! City carpark fairly priced, due to it's location I think, easy walk to castle area.

Loved the Steep Hill and Cathedral area. Cathedral entry far too expensive. Rest of the city quite interesting but too much like every other English city. Loads of bars and restaurants.

Highly recommend heading into Lincoln for a mooch post parkrun activities. Beautiful shops, castle and cathedral. Keep some legs for Steep Hill - it's aptly named.
"We stayed as we are renovating after a house move and the plasterer had taken over the house. It was a welcome break from the daily work of clearing up after tradesmen! The staff were lovely and the food good. We may be back - depending on how things progress at home!"
"A wonderful stay at the Lincoln hotel. We went to see Sting at Lincoln Castle the Lincoln Hotel was a perfect choice as within walking distance of the venue. Not to mention the hotel overlooks the Cathedral and gives stunning views of it. We decided at the last minute to eat in the hotel the food was top rate but i felt a bit sorry for the one lady running the whole thing however it was a tuesday night so maybe usually on weekdays they are not so busy. Breakfast was excellent and a lot more staff evident and seeing to everyone's needs so maybe the hotel had compensated for the night before. A really lovely stay. We will definitely go again. "
