The property was quiet my husband liked the bed. The main room was very clean. I liked that it had a microwave refrigerator and coffee pot. Bathroom sink area a bit cramped. I have arthritis it would be nice if they had stairs leading down to the rocks on the river to enjoy

Heater directly over the bed, large booming sound from outside every 20 minutes, bathroom too small, could get no sleep, this facility should be closed down and rehabbed- terrible place to stay

Sorry to hear your two-night stay wasn't good for you Robert. Our goal is to provide safe, clean, comfortable accommodations in a convenient location for exploration in the White Mountains. Since remodeling all the motel rooms over the past few years, feedback has been positive and the river front room you stayed in commands high demand. While the bathroom is small, the view is unparalleled with wrap around windows facing the river. The rhythmic large booming is intriguing and worth investigating. Your assessment of the facility is uncalled for and plainly mean spirited. If unacceptable, there is no reason to stay a second night.

Well maintained and comfortable. Nearest diner is a 20 min. walk.

Good to hear you had a comfortable stay Alan and you found the place to be well maintained. There are actually two diners within a 20 minute walk in opposite directions. South is the real, old style stainless steel structure, and to the north the other is a dual-business where you can make your own ceramics that serves breakfast and lunch.

A typical small town New England vibe! The motel/cabins were wonderful; clean, convenient, scenic, and many amenities! The owners were easy to communicate with and helpful with recommendations.
