Great location to the Plaza

Posted 10 Jan 2018 on Orbitz
Pros: Location was close to the Plaza, and staff was hepful pointing out events.
Cons: Fix items, shower, if guest notes item of concern.
Location: Close to plaza
The hotel location to the plaza is excellent. Only complaint is that the faucet head to the shower was broken and the water came out in a jet engine stream. Even after we told the staff about the problem, it was not fixed on the following day. Elevator was broken on one day, but lucky not the day we had to leave with the luggage. (We were on the 5th floor.) Staff was helpful getting us a taxi.

Excellent location in centre of Lima

Posted 4 May 2017
Pros: location, rooms, friendly staff
Cons: The breakfast was poor
Location: Excellent as just off the main square in the old town and close to many attractions
Great location, high standard of room, great friendly staff but slightly let down by breakfast on first morning being appalling. Got a bit better on second morning

Depressing experience

Posted 22 Feb 2017
No hot water, very poor breakfast, unhelpful staff. This was once a grand hotel but has fallen on hard times. A ghost hotel with skeleton staff. The location is excellent near the Plaza Mayor, which is reflected in the price. However it failed to meet even the most basic standards.

Convenient

Posted 23 Nov 2016 on Hotels
The location was great! It was a block from the main square. However, the beds were very hard and the pillows were not comfortable. Most of the hotel staff was very nice. The bar was convenient. The rooms could be cleaned better. It states it is a non-smoking room, but it smells like smoke. It was one of the better hotels in the area and had amazing historical qualities. The cable did not work and wi-fi was hit-or-miss.

Breakfast buffet is a joke. Rooms are dated. Hot water is iffy. One elevator doesn't even work. Musty smell. No King or Queen size beds

Hôtel un peu vieilli mais au centre de Lima

Posted 24 Apr 2017 on Hotels
Nuit courte en attente du vol Lima-São Paulo. Excellent dîner au Club de l'Union, restaurant qui se trouve dans la Place d'Armes de la ville en face de la cathédrale et pas loin du palais présidentiel.
