Great staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Great breakfast. Convenient, just what you need.
Very good location for exploring the historic sites in central Lima on foot. Great games room on the roof with books.

The room looks old and feel very cold, it’s very basic

Hello Maria. You stayed at the hostal for 13 nights. However, we never recieved any comment from you about what you are describing here. We asked you if everything was ok with our service, and you always answered afimatevely. That is why we are surprised to read your comment. We had to asked you to pay for late check out as you left the room at 9pm when the regular check out time was at 12:00pm. Hope this has nothing to do with the change on your perception about our service. Best regards from Lima!

This was a nice and secure hotel. The staff are very nice. The area around the property was really dirty. Over all it was a nice experience!

No hot water

Hello Johan. All our showres have hot water. During the 6 years working with Expedia, we have never received a complaint about it. If there was an specific problem, we would have been very glad to know about it in order to fix it inmediatly. Best regards!

The hostel was close to the local Real Plaza and restaurants (20 mins walking distance). The worst was it's too close to a neighbor who liked karaoke sang songs loud until 2~3am in the morning and the beds were too old. Also it's not closed to Plaza de Armes (30 mins walking) but the posting's location said it's within 10 mins walking distance.

Hello Amanda. Thank you for your comments. However, please take note that Expedia´s system shows you the distance from the hostal to every touristic point of the city. Estimations are provided by this system, not by us. Thus, it is somehow unfair to blame it on us. Further, these estimations of walking distance are correct for the great mayority of people, as we are two blocks away from restaurants, and four blocks from real plaza and the begining of the historic center of Lima.
