Friendly staff was the best feature. Disappointing features was the advertised pool had been closed for over twelve months. Maintenance on the property was substandard for the price point.

Simama hotel

A nice hotel in the heart of Lilongwe. Stay was helpful and friendly. Hallway needed cleaning. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable.

Our room had not been cleaned very well. Items from previous guest in bathroom. Hairdryer was not working. I have stayed here in previous years. The staff has changed. Not as friendly as they used to be.

It has been noted that there was a communication breakdown between the Receptionist and the Housekeeper. The room was indeed not ready for occupation and the reception was notified. It was the reception which did not make proper handover. Once again, please accept our apologies once more.

Totally disappointed

The rooms are so small and tight. There is too much furniture in deluxe rooms. No space to put suitcase to open it. The walls are in desperate need for an update. The hotel needs an overhaul update. I couldn’t stay there I left and went to another hotel. If you are looking for a mediocre standard that’s the place for you.
