However the location is quite remote (and by the side of a major road) so the only way to get there and around is by car which can feel a little limiting. "It is truly a one in a lifetime experience to stay in a Trulli in Alberobello. You feel like you have gone back in time and it is so convenient to be right in the little town. We loved all the space in the trulli and the cottage feel. Our Trulli wasn't super clean and had lots of bugs. The bathrooms are a challenge. Still would recommend for the experience but realize this is not a 5 star resort."
