Posted 18 Nov 2018 on HotelsWe asked for a roller bed and it was not set up when we got to our room. The hotel staff came to set up but didn’t know how to. Got a technician to set up the bed and the staff about to just leave us. We had to ask the staff to make the beddings for the roller bed. But he didn’t know how to, and did a horrible job.

The hotel in Wuxi is excellent. It is actually a Japanese hotel. The rooms are very clean and services are good. The area is also nice, very close to lots of restaurants and old downtown. The staff is generally okay, with an exception of a one person at the reception desk who was a bit rude when asking for travel documents (other then passports) that even when entering China we didn't need to show and didn't need. Luckily, the problem was resolved quickly.
