The room stinks of mildew as soon as you walk in. The hotel was aged but renovated recently. Whomever is reapply for the revocation of the room we were in did a horrible job. There was wallpaper or flooring glue everywhere that made the floor look dirty and stained. Was in the bathroom on the tile floor and on the walls and vinyl floor. The toilet had been replaced and there was no bother to fix the floor. The shower was not properly sealed and the floor is actively decaying. The shower door would not stay closed.

Property was right off the highway and easy to get to.

Overall a great stay. Unfortuantely our A/C in the room was not working properly. Additionally, a bad experience from a smoker in our florr. All the corridor stank of smoking cigarettes.

Building looked dirty. Old dirty carpets, elevator looked dirty, smelled musty as you enter the lobby. Hotel name at entrance is dirty.

I was traveling through North Carolina during the week and had not made reservations in a reasonable amount of time. To my surprise, I was pleased both times when I registered to stay at Comfort Inn. The staff (primarily Michael and Tasha) made my stay more pleasant. Thanks, Michael and Tasha. The second room I stayed in (Room 301) was clean, although the floor could have been mopped. The first room I stayed in (Room 225) needed vacuuming, but otherwise it was ok. Overall, my stay at this hotel was pleasant.
