A hidden gem among Lexington's horse farms.

Posted 17 Oct 2017
Pros: Everything.
Location: Keeneland. Also not far from downtown Lexington. ....a quick Uber ride.
We found Chateau Annette on Expedia, and given the good reviews thought we'd give it a try. We were not disappointed. Nestled behind Keeneland the house is spacious and immaculate with a beautiful back yard complete with stream and wildlife. Ben and Annette are wonderful hosts.....you feel welcome and at home. And, BTW, Ben's breakfasts are outstanding.

KEENELAND YEARLING SALES

Posted 22 Sep 2017
Pros: Privacy, cleanliness, breakfasts, and the owners attention to service and their guests comfort. It's very close to Keeneland and Blue Grass.
Cons: Nothing as far as I'm concerned.
Location: Keeneland Race Track, great dining and shopping, Rupp Arena, Runnymede Horse Farm, and anything involving Thoroughbred horses.
This B and B is literally around the corner from Keeneland and Blue Grass Airport making it very easy to get to either place. It's situated in a lovely park-like setting on a private lane and the owners did a great job making us feel at home. Our room was very comfortable and completely private. The owner is also a chef and our breakfasts were made to order affairs with fresh ingredients and great coffee. I've been to Lexington many times for the Keeneland Yearling Sales and stayed in various hotels, but the service and convenience this Chateau Annette provided makes it easy for me to recommend. In fact, I'm already booked there for the 2018 sales. Highly Recommended.

Great place to stay just outside of Lexington!

Posted 25 Jun 2017
Pros: Secluded - in the heart of Horse Country
Cons: The rooms and facilities could have been cleaned of cobwebs and dog hair. A little bit of sweeping would have gone a long way!
Location: Great place to experience Lexington - but still feels like a secluded get-a-way!
Close to everything - Keeneland and the Bourbon Trail. We truly enjoyed the amazing breakfasts and conversation with Ben - the owner.

Great personal hotel close to airport

Posted 26 May 2017
Pros: the breakfast, talking business with Ben, very personal "B&B" type place.
Cons: none
Location: great location by airport, with shuttle.
Great stay! Ben the owner is very friendly, personable and hospitable. He makes a gourmet breakfast which was a very tasty and pleasant surprise. Very nice house, big rooms, great shower pressure, heated toilet seat, very comfortable overall...! Was shuttled to the airport in Ben's personal luxury SUV...!!

Beautiful place to stay - great breakfast

Posted 13 Feb 2017
Pros: Location / setting, staff, food - very nice B&B
Cons: Nothing.
Location: We went to the UK basketball game and needed a place to stay so we didn't have to make the long drive home late after the game.
I took my wife here for her birthday and we absolutely loved this bed and breakfast. The host was awesome, the bed & breakfast was in great condition, and the breakfast was excellent. We will be back next time we need to stay in Lexington.

Near everything in Lexington, KY.

Posted 12 Oct 2016
Pros: Everything. The hosts, the grounds, the location (right there, near Keeneland and everything I went to see in Lexington and surrounding area).
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The location - perfect, perfect. I went to see horse country, it's outside the door, and all around. The hosts had lots of suggestions!
Gorgeous setting, grounds, interior. The hosts are the most wonderful people. Warm, inviting, accommodating and most of all, genuine. I felt like I was visiting with close relatives. The quiet and serenity of the location was amazing. No noise, just crickets and birds... A place for everything, or just relax in your room for home-like comfort. I can't say enough about the hosts, Ben and Annette. They're people-lovers. Ben is an amazing cook, zones right in on what you enjoy, and it happens. Great, great conversation with them. Very, very clean, comfortable, just lovely. Everything was lovely, the people, the place, the setting. Love this place and Ben and Annette.
