It was very quiet. The rooms wete very dark, no nightlight. We were uncomfortable not having a staff member on the property.

Great stay out of the way
Posted 27 Jul 2023 on HotelsThis is an out of the way stay, meaning off the Interstate, in a small town. BUT if you just need a friendly, comfortable stop overnight, Lewellen Lodge works great! They bend over backwards to accomodate you. The place is quiet and definitely no frills. But dont we all need some of that once in a while?

Wonderful place to stay
Posted 14 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe loved everything about the lodge - comfort, spacious, clean, quiet! The only problem we had was getting someone to check us in after having made a reservation online, arriving and calling the number posted on the door. After waiting a 1/2 hr. we found a second number in an advertisement and that person got a hold of the person on site. However, we would definitely stay again.
