"It was a great stay from the start, as the owner Mike had a hockey game on the lobby TV. That's what I like to see! He honored my request for a room away from any possible noise, and he was very informative on where to dine, where to buy gas, and how to get a ticket to an Edmonton Oilers game! "Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit."

"The service was not what I have experienced in earlier stays. They, somehow, had no knowledge of my Expedia booking for the two rooms but were able to accommodate me. When I went to check out at 8 am I was told that they normally don't open the office till 8:30. While the staff person did accommodate me, it seemed to be an unusual statement for the hotel. The antique decor from previous ownership is still in place, which I appreciated."
