Thank you for your comments and we promise you that we will do our best to become better.
Nevertheless, I would like to respond to your feedback to inform others future guests to be.
1 / The dog you are referring to is like a member of our family is our Zikos, particularly friendly with everyone as you can see in all customer reviews.
When you came he was bouncing out of joy because he always enjoys seeing new people and especially kids.
2 / When you came, we had reserved you a room on the first floor but because you did not want your kids to climb up and down the stairs you were immediately transferred to a corresponding studio on the ground floor.
3 / the shower does not have a curtain because in our opinion the curtain is something that is not cleaned daily, so we prefer to daily sweep and mop the room, as happened in your case, too.
4 / the quilts did not have covers because they are washed every time a guest leaves and the next one comes.
5 / The garden contains only swings and toys and is in no case dangerous stuff for young children. If some children of other guests have made an play house themselves in no case that was filthy nor dangerous.
6 / As for the cost of your room, we think it was quite affordable for a 4-person family in a studio of 35 square meters with NORMAL beds for all, a baby's seat and a cost of EUR 60 per night.
7 / I think your children are really having fun with swings and shovels twith their parents in the garden, gathering pebbles in their buckets and playing with the children of other guests in the garden and in the rest of the area which is safe, fenced with private parking and of about 700 square meters.
8 / I would like to ask all those who have already stayed in our hostel and have not stated their experience yet to do so .The more opinions...the more objectivity.

Pros: Owner spoke excellent English; quiet, relxed and safe
Cons: Maybe a shower curtain?
Location: The guesthouse is at the edge of the village. It is only a short walk to a small shop, tavern and restaurant, etc.
This guest house is situated in a rural setting, on the edge of a village called Myloi. We had good directions from the owner, which were very necessary, as our GPS did not recognise the address. Make sure you get these directions and do not book this guesthouse if you do not have your own car. Parking in the front yard of the house is very secure as there is a brick wall and a solid gate. Our greeting was warm and we were given a choice of rooms. They are all large, with a balcony, and are well set out, with a small table top stove and fridge. We were there for two nights and each morning, the owner appeared with Greek pancakes and waffles, which we had not expected and greatly appreciated. Curiously, there is no screen or curtain for the shower which did tend to lead to puddles in the bathroom, but the water was hot and plentiful! Another delight for us was the owner’s lovely dog, which has freedom of movement around the yard and exterior of the building. As dog lovers, we appreciated Ziko’s attentions, but for people who are resistant to canine charms, Ziko’s presence could be disconcerting. This guesthouse is definitely recommended.

Dear friends ,
Thank you for your comments.
We hope you revisit some time in the future.
p.s. As far as the shower curtain is concerned we're sceptical about putting one as ,in my opinion,is not sth that is cleaned and changed daily as the bed sheets.
So it is better the fact that we have a mop in the bathroom instead and a bathroom carpet.
p.s. 2 Zikos really loved you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcoming hostess.
Posted 5 Dec 2015 on HotelsThis hotel was just being used as a stopover. The owner, Doretta had sent to us, a couple of days prior, a welcoming e-mail to advise us how to get there and introduce herself. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable. Breakfast was pancakes and honey, cooked by Doretta. And, before we left, she provided home-made soup - Greek dried ingredients. A fitting end to our short stay.

Nice Place to Stay
Posted 9 Sep 2014 on HotelsThis stay was a pleasant surprise on our recent trip to Greece. We were basically looking for an affordable place to stay on our way back to Athens after a week-long vacation on the Island of Kythera. O Xenonas ton Mylon turned out to be a interesting hotel near the very attractive harbor/beach of Mylon/Mili. The hotel is very unassuming. It's a small building in a neighborhood where several of the surrounding homes are still underdevelopment. Has the feel of a local apartment building with rooms to let. The owner of the hotel could not have been friendlier. Her English was terrific and service great. We had a lovely meal down on the harbor that evening -- a short drive away. Fun respite from more commercial hotel properties. It was hard to find. Be sure to get good directions.
