Ideal for the football stadium.
Posted 8 May 2024 on HotelsStayed here overnight as we had tickets for the RC Lens football match. The hotel couldn't be better placed for the stadium. Literally across the stadium car park - which for myself with limited mobility was perfect. Though as a side note, the stadium seating is very steep, and was very difficult for me. Back to the hotel, it's quite big, has a large bar used by the football fans - though not noisy. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was quite small, but clean & tidy. It's only a short walk from the railway station - or 1 stop on the bus.

Location: We stayed while visiting a local war cemetery. Louvre Lens also worth a special visit.
Recommend eating at Le Pain De La Bouche.
A friendly and comfortable place to stay, and good value for money.

Restaurant was mediocre but handy. Breakfast was awful. Location, comfort and value excellent - extra pillows and blankets impeccably clean.

Good for football stadium
Posted 1 Feb 2018 on HotelsNext to Lens stadium. Short walk to town. Not much culture in Lens but the hotel itself was very good; clean, spacious and friendly helpful staff. Would stay again if seeing football at the stadium

Close to the main centre of town

Good for Lens Louvre
Posted 5 Feb 2016 on HotelsAn easy and safe walk to the Lens Louvre. It is a pity that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday evening. The rooms are fine if Spartan and drab. The bed was comfortable. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful.

Fine for an overnight stay in the area
Posted 30 Oct 2015 on HotelsThe hotel was clean and modern looking, I nearly didn't book it based on some of the previous reviews but I'm glad I did. The place isn't the Ritz but when you're travelling with work I don't see what else you need other than a clean, nice hotel with wi-fi and breakfast. The only downside was that the shower head fixture was at about waist height - not great if you're 6'3" and trying to have a shower rather than a bath.

Overpriced
Posted 2 Jan 2015 on HotelsThe hotel is in serious need of refurbishment. Furthermore the price was rather steep, especially considering the fact that the hotel's location is not great. Positives were the wifi, the hairdryer, and the friendly staff.

Comfortable overnight stop on way back to Calais.
Posted 12 Oct 2014 on HotelsComfortable, clean hotel, with free parking. Room very nice. Staff helpful. Set dinner menu good but breakfast a bit disappointing. very convenient for the Louvre-Lent museum, a pleasant short walk away. Also an easy drive back to Calais for the ferry.
