The place reeked of body oder and my room did not have an air conditioner. It's possible that the online ad did not show air conditioning. I was not able to pull the ad up to verify. I never thought about checking for air conditioning. I have never stayed at a motel that did not have a heater and air conditioner in every room. The temperature inside the room averaged about 90 degrees according to the heater's thermostat in the room. I was miserable both nights. I felt it was not safe to sleep with the window open and did not have enough money to purchase another room. I got bites all over my arms the first night. l think it was bed bugs.The second night I left the bed made up and slept sideways across the bed. I got a few more bites but it wasn't as bad as the first night. I asked the person at the front desk for an iron and hairdryer. I was then informed that my room did not include these types of items, even though they had them in abundance on the back counter. I was in Kansas City to watch my brother compete in the lineman's rodeo and had planned to attend the award banquet that evening. I did not have time to go find a hair dryer or iron elsewhere, so I made the best of a bad situation, put a smile on my face, and went to the banquet with wet hair and a wrinkled dress. I do not know if I have ever stayed at a Motel 6 before, but I do not plan on considering them as an option for the future.

Bedding was dirty, ceiling had mold. Beds were old, hard in spots soft in others and springs were sticking out in some places. No mini fridge no microwave.

When me & my husband arrived, there were police on the property. Our room smelled like something had died in it, the bathroom was dirty. We requested a refund, which I still haven’t received. After looking at the room, we immediately checked out & left.

Absolutely nothings. Condom wrapers under bed. Noise until 2:30am.
