Space Hotel is a Rip Off joint DO NOT STAY HERE
Posted 21 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe Hotel.com web advert for the Hotel is materially incomplete. After you have paid, you get a 1.5 page complex Message imposing Check In by Phone and an App as mandatory. It's illegal to impose mandatory extra conditions after paying. Also, even though the room is paid in full before arrival they add an additional "Reservation Hold" of $150 euro on your Card, and after you leave the say to "contact your bank to cancel it". They Staff are rude and unprofessional DO NOT STAY HERE. The Hotel.com Spt Staff do nothing when advised, very poor Customer Service and unprofessional.

Dear guests, ignore this anonymus review. All rules are written in the description as well as in our booking-confirmation. you only should read it before booking. You dont prepay your stay and we block a deposit before arrival. when you meet the reception time beetween 4-7 am, you will also not have problems with our teachers. This is a school. Thanks

Good cheap option
Posted 5 Oct 2020 on HotelsPleasant stay: clean room and good cost-benefit ratio. However, the WiFi in our floor was not working (the other floors were working properly).

Good value accommodation
Posted 24 Sep 2020 on HotelsGood value accommodation. Single room with sink was clean and functional. Shared bathroom with shower was regularly checked and cleaned well.
I arrived at 16:00 and had no problems checking in.

Hostel in edgy location
Posted 10 Nov 2019 on HotelsThis is a hostel in a part of Leipzig that I wouldnt choose to stay in again. The check in time is very limited, 4pm to 7pm, there are no staff evident outside this time. Access to the hostel is through a dark alleyway and a locked gate and rear door to the property outside of these hours. The location is on a very run down street of mainly boarded up shops. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean but as a solo female traveller I would not stay here again.

See the description before you book - this is what you choose This is a science school on a campus. You book a free room on our guest area, aviabla after the school units. Times are visible by booking. All areas are covered with bright light at night.

I had good days. But so to speak... If there were more amenity goods, they’d make tourists comfortable. For example, body wash and hair dryer.

Posted 29 Oct 2016 on HotelsLeipzig is a fantastic town with amazing history and one of the best city center locations in the world. This hotel is located in a not so great section of town. The staff was not great. They over charged me for the room and messed up charges on my credit card. Hotels.com did help me with this to correct the issue. The room itself, while spartan, was very clean and fair for the price. The hotel is about a 25 minute direct walk from the city center. The area of town is not the nicest. But for the price of the room and for the love of Leipzig I would be tempted to stay there again. There is ample busses and trolleys nearby the hotel to take you where you want to go if you don't want to walk. You do need check in between 4-7pm or your out of luck. And you do need to make sure it's very clear how to leave and enter the building outside of those hours. Also, if you have trouble climbing stairs, you should be aware since the rooms maybe several flights of stairs up with no elevator.

Thank you to visit our school with space hotel. You supported benefit projects. In summer 2016 we had general restauration - in town and at our house. Everythink is like described in Expedia. Unfortuinaly hotels.com did not change their description of our house :-)
Everythink is changed and better. Walk to the city (2 km) is 12 min (not 25 min). Have a safe travel!

Easy to transportation
Posted 11 Jul 2016 on HotelsThe hotel is located close to transit to the downtown core, but the room had very thin walls and we had a hard time sleeping from the noise created by other guests.

Thanks for your visit. We have silence windows and 60 cm thick walls :-) This house is 130 years old. So in the house it is not noisy. If other guests will ot accept the night-rules, so use the SMS-service on your desk. In 3 min we are able to give penalties.
