A lovely stay at the Belmont. Good value and exceptionally clean. Only negative was the furniture in the room which was a bit dated with the exception of the bed which was great

Nice comfortable room, plenty of storage, warm, bathroom with bath and shower, and constant hot water, fairly quiet, overall very goid for the price. The location was excellent, and free parking very useful. Breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from, very good quality. The only let down was the weak coffee and tea. Staff were lovely. We highly recommend this hotel.

We were bowled over with the Belmont. Awesome staff who went above and beyond on 2 occasions for us… and we only stayed the night. They made our 8 year old feel very welcomed. GREAT breakfast, which was fast, prompt and well presented. We will stay again. Recommended ❤️

The hotel is historic and interesting, unique in its layout, but modern in terms of plumbing, wi-fi, and decoraton of the rooms. The location is convenient to the train, to excellent dining, a wonderful museum, and a fantastic pedestrian walkway that leads to the city centre. The food that the hotel offers is superb, and the breakfast options are wonderful. The service staff both in the restaurant and at the front desk are very friendly, helpful and likeable, and went out of their way to make our extended stay more easy and pleasant. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and several parties were held there during our stay with no inconvenience to the resident guests. I would return to this hotel in a flash! Wonderful place.

The room was lovely, don’t like the reuse your towel policy. Was inform when asked that breakfast would be until 10.30am so arranged to meet at 9.30 colleague had to take a call before he sat down. I was then told I would need to finish up as breakfast finishes at 10am as there was a function straight after. I explained what we had been told to no real response or apology. On checkout I witnessed the staff sitting enjoying breakfast no function. I complained at reception but no real apology or offer to refund the missed breakfast just “you shouldn’t have been told that” Very poor service
