"Our stay at Tulipano suite was amazing. We were were impressed by the size of the apartment. It’s impossible to find anything like this gem in Venice. Clean , comfortable beds, quiet and the staff is very professional. Valentina was very helpful and the entire crew as well. I will highly recommend this place. "This property is in a great location if you want proximity to Saint Marks Basilica and doge Palace. We had a great view of the canal and were able to take the gondola just a few steps from the hotel, so that was very convenient. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We came in in the evening and were able to stroll all the streets and felt very safe and comfortable. The next day we went over to the Basilica and we’re surprised how wet the square was… We didn’t realize that the area of the basilica floods when high tide comes in… So that was interesting."

"The hotel is very nice however the panoramic terrance was under construction but the view was still amazing. We booked the honeymoon suite with the balcony it would have been nice to have a small table & 2 chairs on the balcony but there was nothing. The room was a little dated but I think it added to the Venice experience. We had a great time. Gondola was steps away, water bus was steps away, taxi came right to the hotel. Door to door service to the train station & airport. Great location highly recommend! "

Venice Royal San Marco Hotel Sept 2024

"Amazing location just 100 feet from St Marks Square. Took public transportation from Piazza Roma to San Marco and then a 10 minute walk to the hotel across St Marks Square crossing one bridge with 16 steps total. Used water taxi to get to airport fro San Marco pier. Hotel staff was great, breakfast was good, lots to do in the area and the hotel gave great referrals for lunch, dinner and snacks. Recommendations were all great places and within 5 to 10 minutes of the hotel. Room was smaller than expected but was adequate for our four day stay. 10 minute walk straight west to Rialto Bridge! 30-40 minute walk to Piazza Roma from hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel!"
