overall it is in a beautiful area the staff very pleasant, breakfast could have been better it was just warm .

For the price I wasn't expecting too much, but at the least for it to be clean. Bedding and towels were clean, but the room hadn't been cleaned. Fresh stains on the lamp and unit next to the bed. Toilet and bathroom also had stains and hadn't been cleaned. No food available / restaurant closed, would have been nice to know that in advance as didn't check in until 8pm

No room when arrived
Posted 28 Jun 2021 on HotelsBooked and recieved gteed confirmation but when arrived told no room as had been overbooked by 40 others as well!!!! Told this happens all the time and the system lets people overbook , 23.00 on sat night so while there for 1hr trying to sort out with no result booked another hotel even though was still showjng rooms available at britannia.
