Arrived Friday to see a Tanglewood concert. Inn provided lovely afternoon cocktails and appetizers with piano music. Saturday hosts sponsored garden concert with local artists - really nice after morning hike to water fall and early afternoon golf. Yummy Morning breakfast each day. Central to Stonebridge and Lenox. Hosts very knowledgeable

Nice people. Pretty old property. Bad feeling upon departure, they delayed us and said we hadn’t paid. Weird that the guy came to our room. Felt invasive. They could have called or texted, or checked with Expedia first. More stress on an already a stressful trip.

So sorry you had a stressful trip. I knocked on your door shortly before checkout in the hopes that some advance notice would not delay your trip at check-out. Yes, the building is historic, as this Gilded Age building was built in 1800, expanded in 1931 and is the former estate of George Westinghouse, Jr. We invest tremendous capital into property improvements and receive raving reviews from our guests. We take great pride in both the property and how we treat our guests and truly apologize that we did not exceed your expectations. We were able to contact Expedia to get the credit card issue resolved, I understand you had some difficulties with your rental car as well. Best wishes and we appreciate your candid feedback.
