I arrived close to 3pm. The check-in time is apparently at 4pm. I asked if I could check-in early to drop off my bags quickly and go. The front desk person was polite but called the manager. The manager said I could not check-in early unless we paid more money. The rooms were ready but wanted to gauge a customer that had been travelling all day to make an extra buck. Shameful! They blamed it on the fact I booked my hotel with Expedia. Bad customer service from the hotel manager. Would not stay again.

Sorry you feel that way Mark but those are the terms of the agreement with Expedia and everything is monitored electronically. We have perks for our loyalty program members and those who book directly. If we give those extra benefits to everyone then it defeats the purpose of booking directly. OTA rooms are always ready for check-in at 4pm. Should you choose to check-in earlier then a fee applies of which a portion goes to the booking channel. It is not about “gauging” the customer. The funds saved by booking directly go back into the maintenance of the hotel. The rooms are well maintained because most of our guests book directly. We value all of our guests but as stated each program has their perks. No different than any other loyalty programs. We hope you enjoyed your stay and reconsider staying next time but understand if you choose not to.

Convenient, comfortable hotel with dedicated working area. The fact they sell the regular bottle water at 3.50 and there is not a courtesy one in the room, shows you they are just a plain simple place to stay on your pass through Leamington. A more dedicated customer service could go a long way. I would prefer to stay somewhere else.

Our tap water is perfectly safe to drink and we offer a FREE filtered water bottle station in the 24 hour fitness room. This is to help prevent excess bottles going to landfills. As you can see from our reviews - our service is top notch so please elaborate on what you mean by “a more dedicated service”. Good location close to many amenities. Nice and friendly staff. Rooms were a bit small though.
