We were in Lawrence for KU Basketball game. They had one person manning check in desk, that was half dead. She wasn’t enthusiastic, she wasn’t smiling, she wasn’t snappy or on the ball. It took her 15-20 minutes to check in the foursome in front of us. She did apologize for the wait. But why don’t you have backup when you have a line of people waiting? And someone as slow as the second coming? The bathroom door was filthy. Dirty finger marks running entire length of door and tons of scuff marks across the bottom. Why don’t you paint it? Everything else seemed clean, but the pillow cases were not bright white. I’m sorry I was so grossed out. We have stayed here before. What the hell has happened? When we left in morning, the guy behind counter NEVER looked up. We went past him 3 times. The only bright light was the lovely lady working the breakfast area. She greeted us and was very engaging and pleasant to talk to! God Bless Her! Maybe you can’t find pleasant, personable, people persons to run front desk, for what you are paying, and I don’t know what you are paying. We were disappointed. You don’t need to print this review, but someone needs to know what your customers are experiencing. For the record, this is the first review I have ever written, this was just too much.

This property is off the path a bit and close to Hallmarks plant. It is in renovation and a bit quiet. We live in town and we’re getting plumbing work done at the house and were surprised to learn of comforts anti residents policy. We thought 150 dollar deposit per room was odd.

Construction was noisy and we had to walk around them constantly. The staff however was incredible!!!

We sure enjoyed all the staff, location was good . Beds slept good. The breakfast staff was excellent. She made our mornings so enjoyable
