A real hidden gem.
Posted 4 Jun 2022 on HotelsFabulous place to stay - right near the main road but completely hidden and sheltered from the traffic noise. The owners are lovely - as are their dogs - and the property has great gardens to walk around and a pool with loungers to enjoy. As the triple room was not booked out, we were upgraded to the larger room at no extra cost. Breakfast was excellent and there are tea/coffee facilities and a fridge to use during your stay. ONE WARNING - this hotel does not take credit cards, so ensure you have cash to settle your account as the nearest ATM is a very long way away!

Great location and a lovely host however the whole place smells mold. It’s a very strong and unpleasant smell that stayed in our hair and clothes after our departure. We were also disappointed by the cleanliness in the room - there were spiderwebs that evidently had been there for quite some time. Our stay wasn’t cheap and I expected the standard to be kept above the average, yet it wasn’t.

Bonjour, nous sommes désolés que vous n'ayez pas été satisfaits par votre séjour. Notre maison est ancienne et il y a beaucoup d'éléments en bois (poutres apparentes) mais aussi des meubles qui donnent une odeur ancienne bien spécifique. Nous aerons toutes les chambres tous les jours et veillons à leur propreté. Désolée pour les araignées, elles sont visiblement plus rapides que moi pour rentrer dans la maison car comme je les déteste, je les enlève tous les jours ....mais nous habitons la campagne et il est difficile de les chasser toute la journée ;-)

Les propriétaires sont chaleureux, c'est un lieu agréable dans un milieu bucolique. C'est un bon rapport Qualité/Prix
