"When I read other comments here, I expected to see an unclean room, a lack of working facilities, broken lighting, a neglected bathroom, a dirty pool and towels, a poor breakfast, and so on. However, everything was better than I expected. We had a clean room with working facilities and a partial ocean view. The breakfast was modest but better than in a similar hotel on the West Side. "Ana at front desk was very accommodating with an early check in. All staff were pleasant throughout the week. The location to the beach is a 30 second walk. The boardwalk next to hotel and beach was nice for a run / run / bike ride and goes on for a long time time. Local restaurants, cafes and shops were all convenient and nice.
