Seemed like it may have just been unfortunate timing. The hotel was undergoing renovations which meant a lot of the facilities were closed down (pool, jacuzzi, fitness center). The beds weren't comfortable in the room, the tub in the bathroom didn't seem to be installed properly it kept shifting under foot. The elevators weren't operable luckily we were on the 2nd floor. If I was aware of the conditions I most likely would have booked the hotel across the street instead. I wasn't informed of any of it ahead of time since I booked via Expedia. I guess I should have read the recent reviews. The breakfast was decent at least and the staff we interacted with were nice.

Hi Steve, I am sorry you had a poor experience with your stay in terms of amenities being closed. We are doing a facelift to our hotel and are very excited to be getting brand new rooms and public areas. Unfortunately in order to do that we have had to put the items out of service until they can remodel them. I wish there was another way around it. We have the temporary closures listed under the amenities area of the Expedia listing; I am sorry you missed it. I am glad our team took good care of you, and you enjoyed our free hot breakfast. While it was undergoing construction during our stay, the property was clean and the staff clearly communicated the short term limitations. There wasn’t easily walkable options near the property, but multiple eating and shopping options were a 10-15 minute drive away.

The temporary closures of the pool and some other public spaces are communicated in the amenities area of Expedia, I am sorry you missed it. Please do stop in at the front desk so we can assist you with dining recommendations. There are quick service restaurants all around our building, as well as a large food truck plaza with seating right next door to us. It was on a nice area with all kinds of stores and it had a lot of lights Needs to update a little bit

Well not sure why, but for staying two nights we didn’t get house keeping service. Breakfast both mornings was excellent.
