After reviewing their daily rates, I made an easy online reservation. This hotel is located along the highway, behind a casino. I took a San Carlos coaster from Albrook and was a short walk from the bus stop to the hotel. With a few malls closeby and plenty of restaurants in the area, I was able to find everything I needed. Hotel staff did a great job of answering any questions. I was able to converse in English. I requested an apartment refrigerator and they accommodated my request. The facility was clean and inviting. My room was spacious and had a comfortable queen size bed. I opted for $10 laundry and was very pleased with the service. They have a small in ground pool. The in-room safe did not operate because it did not have batteries. Many basic amenities were missing - no microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer. The hotel runs front to back with open interior hallways. Truck and bus traffic could be heard from the highway. My biggest concern was the WiFi. With just a few English channels on the cable, I tried to watch YouTube videos, but the internet would quit and restart every few minutes. Eventually, on my last day I was not able to pull up any videos at all. Similar for WhatsApp calls, my call would start and be cut off after a short time. Text messages went through in place of voice calls. I understand the hotel is under new management and it appears they are working daily to improve conditions there. With such a nice staff, I can overlook any discrepancies.

Billing discrepancy is curious

Coronado Inn is just fine. We had stayed there before. But it was an unpleasant surprise getting billed $183.54 by Hotels.com and later receiving the cc receipt from Coronado Inn bill for only $141.84. Difference = $41.70. Tried asking why on Hotels.com virtual chat, but never got through. Curious.

Great place to stay, basic low budget, no desk. or chairs for sitting and working on computer, etc. No glass wear, plastic or other wise. Unknown if was ice available or not. Unknown if they had a restaurant. Great place het in and out ina quick overnight stay.

I arrived early by 30 minutes, the receptionist just let me check in around 15 minutes before 3 o'clock. They give you a single key. The AC was really bad during the day the room was hot. But the room was clean. The restaurant is closed so you need to buy your food on the area.
