I used to love this hotel because of its location and its simplicity but this time it was well below expectations and way too simple for the price they charge per night! No tissue box in room, no cup
for toothbrushes (broken), pillows very thin and uncomfortable. Sofa bed very noisy, squeaky and uncomfortable, hairdryer not working. Hight price for the low value delivered! Will not go there again.

The whole experience with Hotel Opera was very unpleasant. We were waiting for 20 mins without anyone at the front desk. The lady wasn’t friendly when she finally showed up. With another man who might be her boyfriend (although that’s speculation they arrived together). She claimed that she was checking someone else in, but it took her sub-1min to walk us to our room so 20 min seems excessive. Not to mention it’s a small hotel and we walked the halls calling for help, rang the front buzzer several times, and called the number provided up front. I don’t know what she was up to, but definitely not available.
We told her we were tired and ready for the room. Room condition was very sad. Dirty bathroom and the place was very dated. AC wasn’t even cold and the space was quite cramped.
When we checked out the front desk didn’t even greet us or ask about our stay. I wouldn’t recommend place because we felt unwelcome and the hotel itself is very dated. We actually got more attention and welcome from our shuttle pick up for our rental car who offered lots of advice for places to visit, eat, etc. We didn’t get anything like that from this hotel.
The only thing they had going for them is 1) fair amount of gravel parking beside hotel 2) close to restaurants and souvenir shops. But even with these I wouldn’t recommend

The location of the property was excellent, it was about a 3 minute walk to the beach front. Cafe and restaurants next to the hotel.super clean place . Help yourself to a light breakfast. One of the receptionists was from Bulgaria she was extremely helpful and polite . I will definitely be back again
