"We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station - 15 minutes pulling a medium size suitcase over cobblestones. We needed easy access to our train to Vernazza. The staff was very nice. Our room was up a couple flights of stairs and we got help with our luggage. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was just ok. "Restaurant service was terrible. Too few staff. Waited 25 minutes to get a drink and even then spouse had to go to the bar to ask for one. And it went down hill after that. Walked out eventually. Hôtel manager said private function took staff away from restaurant. He competed the bill of what with had so cost there. The hotel manager was very very good. "Super convenient hotel for a one-night stay near the train station! It's ~10-15 minutes from key areas and restaurants in Pisa, and about ~20-25min to the Tower. The room was spacious and in good condition, and staff were friendly and helpful.
