Overall really enjoyed my stay, staff are really friendly and welcoming... only thing I will change is to have a proper shower for guests that have checked in the morning but have a late flight in the evening

Disappointing Stay Despite Prime Location

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The rooms were not as advertised in the pictures, which was the first of many disappointments. Upon arrival, I noticed there were no towels or hand towels provided. Despite multiple requests and a long wait of about six hours, I had to visit the reception four times before I finally received them. Additionally, there were no phones in the rooms, making it inconvenient to communicate with the staff. The rooms themselves were in poor condition: they smelled unpleasant, and the carpets were dirty with numerous hairs scattered around. This level of cleanliness was unacceptable and made the stay uncomfortable. I paid extra for an upgrade and was moved to a room in the new building. While this room was in better condition, it came with its own issues: the water pressure in the bathroom was poor, and I lost the beach view I had initially paid for. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its convenient location near the beach. However, this alone does not justify the poor service and subpar room conditions. Overall, the hotel failed to meet expectations, and I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. The high cost does not match the quality of the accommodations or the service provided.

We have been going to the malibest resort for about 5 years its not a 5 star hotel if that's what you are looking for but all the staff are very friendly Azril who cleaned are room was very good and accomadating the room's are looking very tired and really are in desperate need of updating one of the things that i find a bit odd is there is only one chair in the room but there is two people staying in the room so this means only one person can site on the balcony wihch was a let down

We stayed at the melibest in langkawi for 20 nights there is building work going on every day there was a lot of banging and drilling and a electric wood planner being used all day and I really mean all day it really spoiled are holiday

Such A Disappointment

The aircondition kept on switching off every 5 minutes. I did ask them to fix sink pipe but they didn’t. Plus, the shower water from the heater was way too hot. Can’t even take our shower with it. TV was also not working. No wifi provided too. I was so disappointed. Won’t be staying here again next time.
