Great place to stay within 15min walk of the beach

Posted 8 Jul 2019 on HotelsA but further from the beach and main shopping strip than I thought, Pool area lovely but can be to noisy when kids there. Ants found there way to bathroom. Reception guy lovely but English not great. Overall lovely place.

My family stayed for 3 nights(19-21/12/2018) and it was a lovely experience from the word go.
I called to say we were arriving late, and immediately arrangements made.
Two staffs greeted us at check in facilitated a speedy check in.They also recommended a great mangrove trip with BARD which we enjoyed so much.
The housekeeping staffs were courteous and helpful, complimented by the three staffs that prepared our morning meals.
Breakfast was ample for the family, there are selection of Asian and Western dish at the buffet.
The location was easily accessible, the gardens are well maintained.Our room were clean and comfortable. It is nice and quiet to relax
Kudos to the three friendly staffs that made our stay memorable, Nazri Mazli and Izzaida.
They gave us great tips to local meals and activities. Theres a night market about 50m every Thursday night
Given these experiences, we will definitely mention n recommend Chantique resort to our friends. Given the chance, will definitely come back soon.

Short Trip
Posted 5 Feb 2018Small hotel with cosy rooms and nice little salt water pool. Hotel is a bit far away from the beach which was no issue for us because we rented a motor scooter.
