There is a manager Job that schedule several tours only wanted me to pay in cash and didn't pay for parks entrances and when I asked to be paid back he sent to my driver he was honest but not in my hand like I paid him the staff around him is exceptional the internet there is none this hotel need new management

Your feedback is extremely valuable to us as we strive to improve with each and every stay.Thank you for bringing the issue in regard to payment. I reached out to you to make payment using your visa at Hells gate National Park because payment was to be made strictly by card or USD. The guide had not envisioned this and my sincere apology. This was an oversight from my end. Mr. William your guide had the money in his mobile wallet and unfortunately this was turned down at the gate. During your tour you observed that the guide was making the payments because he had the money in his mobile wallet and was to make all the payments. Kindly also consider that we did not stick to the itinerary as planned. You made some changes, and I completely understood. In regard to payment in cash, all services were outsourced and were to be paid in cash or via mobile money which has to be loaded via cash; the tour van/guide, Karen Blixen Museum, giraffe center. This did not turn out to be the case in some.About the refund, you had paid in Kenya shillings and since you were flying out of the country, I believed it was in order the refund to be in USD and unfortunately the buying rate for the dollar was so high.The internet issue has been well noted and our service provider has initiated upgrades.My sincere apology for the inconvenience and hope that you will give me another opportunity to serve you better in the future.Thank you for your feedback.Regards.Job

A Warm Kenyan Welcome

Excellent stay in Nairobi! The service is impeccable as is the cleanliness of the room. The entire hotel team were exception at making me feel welcomed to Kenya.

Not the best in Nairobi

Cons: towels, shower, food
Towels rough...the breakfast was not a buffet like other hotels in Africa that I've stayed in and was not very good....shower not good

Nice accommodation out of city center.

Pros: Friendly staff and owner. Descent breakfast. Well maintained and equipped, clean rooms.
Cons: Larger range of wine and beer :)
Location: Walking distance to the Catholic Uni. of Eastern Africa.
A most enjoyable stay. Good value for money. Will stay over again if the opportunity arises. Staff sensitive to personal needs.

Hot water was an issue. Required multiple follow up calls but didn't get timely resolution. There were few good things about the stay though.

Very helpful staff. Although there was one oddity that there is no air conditioning. When asked, staff brought in a pedestal fan promptly.
