"Quite and safe "

"We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! "I've been staying here on visits for the past five years and the experience has always been a good one. I had a small suite located at a corner of the building and could see the Himalayas out both windows whenever the weather was clear enough. Bed was comfortable and the large desk was a pleasure to use. Wi-fi was strong and internet connection was fast. Hotel restaurant remains a good choice, although somewhat expensive by Nepalese standards. On the other hand I have never gotten sick from...

"I can't say enough good things about this place. It's centrally located and I found it to be a home away from home. I was only there three days but during that time period I had an issue with my eye that needed a doctor visit. They totally accommodated me. They found an eye doctor and took me there. Not only once, but twice. I am thankful for the opportunity to have stayed with this kind family and would not hesitate to stay there again."

I think other rooms probably have modern bathrooms based on the one in the lobby. The airport shuttle is convenient. The breakfast is a solid way to start the day.
