A little pride would go a long way!
Posted 23 Nov 2017 on HotelsHotel was hard to find, no lights on signage or in lobby building. At checkin the card machine was broken. No explanation of amenities, hot spring pool location (again with no lights) and was not clean. Room had broken lights, FIRM mattress and broken shower towel rack. Mold growing in cracks of shower curtain. This place has charm, but needs a little work in the hospitality department.

great, we were there only for a quick night. The hot springs was closed and we were not notified so if this is important for someone, this could be a problem.

Pros: only check in....nothing else
Cons: They need to update, repair and clean. Had junk scattered all over out side. At least that is what is looked like. Where was the Hot spring?
Location: N/A
young man who checked us in was very nice. But, the room had mud chunks on the bathroom floor.
bugs in the sink, large spider on ceiling. bed was ok...but, will never return here. Ad was very midleading.

Budget Hot Springs
Posted 10 Sep 2017 on HotelsThe resort was built around 1925 and the outside is a bit run-down now. Inside, rooms are very clean and comfortable, and everything works. The hot springs pool is the real draw-card here, the resort was originally built around it. Hot mineral water is piped directly from the spring into the pool, and the water keeps coming and I suppose water is constantly draining out to make room for it. It's not chlorinated, just constantly refreshed hot mineral water straight from the spring - I loved it. The temperature is what you'd want in a hot jacuzzi, but it's not too hot for comfort, just very, very relaxing. I suggest that guests coming here should immediately head for the pool for a nice, relaxing soak. Pool is open from about 7am to 10pm. Would we come back? Yes, definitely.

Do. Not. Stay. Here.
Posted 7 Sep 2017 on HotelsWe showed up and no one was at the front desk. had to call a cell phone number. No one answered. Then the front desk guy showed up. He was very nice. Got a room. This is where it went downhill. The room was 1000 degrees. it was 102 degrees that day. If you knew you were gonna fill all the rooms, why not have the A/C on? The room was full of gnats and spiders. The microwave barely heated anything up. The sheets were stained. The curtains on the Windows were 6 inches too short on both sides so no privacy. Every time we flushed the toilet, it made a loud, awful sound for 2 minutes. The next morning we went to shower (which is the entire reason we stayed at a hotel in the middle of a camping trip) and there was no hot water. No hot water in the shower or the sink. We checked out and were unable to find any hotel employee to complain too. I would rather sleep on the ground in the rain than stay here again.

Convenient & affordable
Posted 5 Sep 2017 on OrbitzThis motel is convenient and affordable, clean and comfortable. Comparable to other motels in the area but a better price. In a scenic location with pond, wildlife, and view of the hills, in a quiet, out-of-town location but only a short drive to town.
