There was a heavy amount of mold in our room, we would up checking out and leaving

The lady who checked us in was very nice but that’s where the nice stopped. Active drugs and prostitution on the property. The interior was run down. We were greeted with mouse traps in the elevator and absolutely filthy floors. Trash was gathered in the corners of room, carpet was stained with pieces of visible trash strewn around. The bed covers were foul with not just stains but unwashed and filthy. The sheets underneath looked ok. It didn’t look like any surface had been wiped down much less cleaned. The bathroom mirror was dirtier than my car windshield which had been driven through two states. We could not stay.

Outdated, was not clean , kids running around all day in the hotel , undesirables staying at the hotel. It was a terrible stay for the price paid for accommodations. Cost should not be more than $50 per night.

This was the worst hotel experience we have had in a long time. We asked for a first floor room due to an elderly pet, but were put on the second floor. The carpeting throughout the hotel was filthy. The breakfast sausage and gravy was less than lukewarm. There was no milk for cereal, and no cream for the coffee. The young girl responsible was sitting near the hotel entrance reading on her cellphone for almost thirty minutes, never checking if the food was okay. The hallways had a horrible smell from smoke and marijuana. A hotel employee had to spray the hallway. In our room, the chair seat was shredding, and a dresser had multiple holes on top. The faucet handle was so loose it almost came off. We frequent LaQuinta hotels because they are pet friendly, but we would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There were men walking without shirts inside the hotel, needs to improve the the variety of food in the breakfast. During the breakfast one guess has a discussion with the person that prepares the breakfast.

Terrible WiFi connection and there was hair and leftover soda bottles in and under our bed!

Upon arrival we were met by what appeared to be a crime scene. The entire front entrance was taped off in yellow tape which gave it the appearance of an active crime scene. I called the property and they told me to go around to the back entrance door to enter the property. Why didn't they have a sign up to that effect? Upon checking in I was told they would charge my credit card $100.00 deposit in case I damaged the property. Also told me that I would not get a receipt for my stay since I had already prepaid for the room. When we got to our room we discovered that the light over the bathroom vanity didn't work. The front desk told me they wouldn't have any maintenance people until the next morning. We struggled getting ready the next morning to go to the event that brought us to Lakeland. Since we were not getting a receipt for our room we returned our room key to the front desk "bowl for keys". Later we started getting texts from the hotel asking us when we were going to check out. That is our experience. We WILL NOT BE BACK EVER!
