Great location- sandwiched between Mt Shasta and Shasta Lake. It is right off the interstate- and easy to find- but it’s not quiet- ear plugs were helpful. The room had air conditioning- which was fabulous after 90 degree days, mini fridge, microwave (hard to find in rooms) and a working coffee machine. The accommodations- while a little dated, were clean and tidy. Parking was very convenient and close to the room. They had a little front porch. Staff was very friendly and let us check in a few hours early (thank you!). We were able to take a little morning walk around. There is a diner down the street from the lodge.

Somewhere to sleep
Posted 17 Aug 2024 on HotelsThis is a motel style room, right next to the freeway. You’re booking this for somewhere to sleep, not to enjoy. Room was clean, bed was quite hard. Kept up most of the night by the sex noises next door but that’s not the owner’s fault!
