The view of Lake Tekapo was stunning. The room we had was however pretty small and furniture was somewhat outdated. There really weren't many amenities so ensure you pack your own shower cap, cotton buds and so forth.

Everything was fine but liked a bit more clarity wat cabin i book because i didn't like the fact that there was not a toilet in the cabin i can cope with everything else just bathroom facilitie
And i would liked some pots and pans and cutlery and plates in the kitchen itself

We drove from Wanaka and road was closed so had to turn around and go around I called hotel to advise and they said they don't do cancellations for when road is closed - so the expectation is that people will drive for hours on detours to get there. I did not enjoy this phone call and when we come back next year we will not stay at this hotel.

Hi Christal,It is outlined in our cancellation policy that we advise for you to have travel insurance as it will cover you for the possibility of road closures which is a common occurrence in winter, especially on the South Island. We could have also moved your booking to a different date.
