Loved the birch cottage. Well maintained and walkable distance to good shepherd church.

Old building so has a couple of minor issues but the new owners are in the middle of doing renos so I'm sure these will be fixed up soon

Cottage was very good,had everything we needed.
Beds were comfortable and it was very well equipt.
Bit of noise in morning from building works and TV kust did not work as kept loosing signal.Staff nice & liked location,would stay again.

The fridge was not functioning when we arrived. It had apparently been switched off for cleaning and not switched on again.
The bed lacked electric blankets. This strikes us as strange given that Tekapo is reported as being the coldest town in the country...
The unit was a little bit tired and in need of new paint and fittings e.g. the toilet roll holder.
On the plus side, the spa pool was great and the outlook onto a small park, pleasant.

Great property, rented the two bedroom cabin for two nights and everything was as expected. Would highly recommend.

I didn't really like this property.The staff were nice enough but the property itself was really run down and not clean.
