We love staying at the Crown Plaza! The views from every room are beautiful, the staff is always pleasant and happy to help, and the room is always clean and comfortable. We especially love the convenience of the location to all the best shops and restaurants in Lake Placid, you can park and don't have to move your car again because everything is walkable from the hotel.

Great spot with great view of the lake. Price was more than reasonable, comfy beds and lots of parking

The views of the High Peaks and Mirror Lake from the Great Room were spectacular. The food was tasty, and more reasonably priced than many of the main street restaurants. Dinner service was wonderful; breakfast seemed to be a bit under-staffed, but everyone was friendly. There doesn't seem to be any staff to help with bags, and some of the rooms are quite far from the front desk.
