I recently planned a 2 night stay and after the first night I left. The kids running around, screaming, literally sounded like a dance party above my head. Woke up to gum stuck to my car windows and soda cans on the hood. During the first night I called the front desk twice with no actions taken. Because of my lack of sleep and potential more car damage I checked out a day early. Absolutely NO refunds, actually absolutely NO response from the manager after emails and phone calls. The lack of response from the manager is unfortunate because apparently the kids of the hockey tournaments are more important because the money brought it. I will be canceling an upcoming reservation to this hotel in January…and will never stay again. Great job Art Devlin…amazing customer service

The Devlin is a really nice throwback. Actual keys for the rooms. Entering the room from the outside. It was great. And the rooms have all been updated and modern. They're clean and spacious and comfortable. The location is easily walkable to downtown Lake Placid. And the price was very affordable. I'm looking forward to being back there soon.

The Devlin is situated at the end of the main strip close to the arena. This is indicative of loud hockey teams. It is an older motel so the sound proofing could be better. That being said the staff was great and the rooms were decent.

Beautiful hotel perfect for a weekend trip. About a 20 minute walk from downtown Lake Placid, and about a 30 minute drive from the Adirondack Mountain Reserve. The room was spacious and comfortable, and beautifully kept. The vintage Olympics decoration in the lobby is a nice unique detail. Would definitely stay here again!

The only good thing about this Inn is the location! The outside are area of the Inn was ok but because the bowling alley is right next door you can forget about a quite evening! Now as for the cleanliness of the room it was disguising!!! It smelled so bad we slept with the balcony door opened in 60 degree weather! We even found a dirty sock in the room.

The cleanliness and convenience can’t be beat for the price. The hotel rooms are quiet and the clientele a mixture of tourists and outdoor adventure folks. The heated pool was refreshing, but colder than one would think for a heated pool. That said, the shower plumbing wasn’t anchored correctly and sounded like a diesel engine when running. One of the two queen beds was tremendously lumpy and the beds were a little smaller than typical queen-size. Still, even with the lumpy bed and thundering shower, the hotel was worth the stay.
