"We stayed at Mountaineer Lodge for 1 night in the second building, downstairs room with parking space in front of the room. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options for everyone. The hot tub and steam room were a real bonus. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the Ukrainian lady. The location is great for Lake Louise and the local shops but there is not much else around. It was difficult to find a decent restaurant out of season. Lastly, you can hear the trains as the tracks run behind. "

"Look no further. These chalets might not me the modern high end chalets you’d expect, but they are clean, comfortable and practical for any getaway. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside is that they are close to the train tracks, but they do provide ear plugs. Honestly, the trains didn’t bother us at all. "
