"Loved the peaceful atmosphere of the cabin. We were upgraded to a working fireplace which was fun and welcomed with a small bottle of wine. Loved having two adirondack chairs out front to soak up all the beauty. Hotel has nice shop, coffee shop and decent restaurant. Loved being able to hike to the falls that everyone else was bussing to. "

"Plans changed last minute for 2 nights in Lake Louise area. This was pricier than most, but got us in walking distance (about 1.25 miles) to Lake Louise and they have a contracted shuttle for Moraine Lake for $60CAD per person. We missed out on the cheap shuttle through Canada Parks which is best option getting to the 2 lakes. There is a local bus as well, but that only goes to Louise, not Moraine. The stay itself was probably the best lodging we had over 10 days between Glacier NP and Banff. If you want some convenience and don't mind shelling out some bucks, this is nice."

"We loved our knotty pine cabin. The grounds were wonderful, beautiful. The staff was kind, helpful, accommodating. The kitchen was incredibly well supplied. The craftsmanship of the cabin was remarkable. All made for a very comfortable stay: the store, the parking, the grounds, the amenities. And what a beautiful spot!"

"Exceptional location and amenities in lodging e.g. wood burning fireplace! Friendly, helpful staff. Deep sleep bedding/mattress. Lodge restaurant was good (though some allergy-causing ingredients in some of the food should have been made more clear on the menu/by wait staff)."
