The only thing I liked was the location but the rest of the property was as bad as it gets.

Got up Saturday morning ready for my shower for work. NO HOT WATER! Found out that there was a water leak on floor 2. Ok I can deal. Went to work. Got back around 6 still no hot water. Ok I’ll shower on Sunday.NO HOT WATER! Went to work. Got up on Monday I need a shower! NO HOT WATER! I tried to call the front desk. Phone is not plugged in. Found the plug & tried to call the front desk. I could hear her she couldn’t hear me. Uggggg. Found out at check out that the maintenance guy didn’t know how to turn on the water heater. Why wasn’t someone called on Sunday. This was pretty unacceptable.

I ordered a king room. The desk attendant told me they didn't have king room put me in a queen i was told had a balcony. Thought that would be fine. No balcony either. I know they have updated rooms as i stay at this hotel often but got one of the old rooms looked nothing like the pictures of the room I requested and thought I was getting. Would of been fine for me but it was my wife and I she was less than thrilled.

This is difficult to rate because the service was absolute above and beyond. We had requested a balcony with joining rooms, the staff was very friendly and accommodated us with our request. The rooms were fair and not very clean, the name of the hotel has changed but the hotel has not. Motel 6, some floors are under renovation. Come Summertime it would be a great spot as it is close to the beach, dog park, etc. The walking path takes you to the London Bridge and other shops. I would stay here again but will wait for the renovation to be completed.

Room 204 needs a new shower head and room next door had TV on load all night...walls were thin. But otherwise a good stay...thanks!
